Extruder Screens

Extruder screens are single or multi-layer mesh wire filtration systems that are stacked or welded together to remove any contaminants before the insulation enters the extrusion head. Most are made of stainless steel or nickel (corrosive process environment such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and salt water)

• Remove contaminants from insulation
• It is important screens are changed frequently to avoid build up in pressure eliminating scrap damage to other parts of the machine
